Francesca’s work is defined by vibrant colours, playful lettering and decorative patterns. Having spent part of her childhood in Mexico, her visual language is greatly influenced by the expressive qualities of the country’s folk art and vernacular lettering.
Since completing her BA at Brighton University in 2016 she has been working as a chalkboard artist for the health food retailer As Nature Intended, a job that has helped her to develop a growing interest in handcrafted letterforms.
