Screen Making Services

We provide high-quality screens and everything you need to start screen printing, each sold separately so you only pay for what you actually need. To get started, you’ll need three essential elements: a screen, your design made into a positive (which we use to expose the screen), and our exposure service to transfer the design onto the screen. If you’re reusing a screen that still has an old stencil on it, we also offer a wash-out service to clean and prepare it for your next print.

A creative poster, affixed to a weathered metal backdrop, serves as a canvas showcasing the artisanal printing offerings of Positives. This artwork features an array of sizes—A3 (£7.00), A2 (£11.00), B2 (£15.00), and A1 (£18.00)—rendered within its design, highlighting the precision and craft inherent in their services. Below this tableau rests an email contact for bespoke art prints, inviting viewers to engage further with custom artistry tailored to individual tastes.

Positive Printing

Our positive printing service creates high-density black stencils on PVC-free PosiPrint Inkjet Screen Film. The solid black areas on your positive block the light during exposure, which means those will be the areas that print with whichever colour you choose when screen printing. This gives you a sharp, accurate positive that’s ready to use in the exposure process.

Explore Positive Printing

In a dimly lit studio, an artist kneels with focused intent, meticulously preparing the screen exposure for printing. The room is an art haven, filled with various screens and scattered paint splatters, each marking moments of inspiration. The ambiance is one of concentrated creativity—a sanctuary where every piece is uniquely crafted by the artist's skilled hands and imaginative spirit.

Screen Exposure

Our screen exposure service prepares your screens for professional printing. We coat your screen with a light-sensitive emulsion and use your positive (your design printed on clear film) to expose it under a powerful UV light. After washing out the image, your design becomes a clean stencil within the screen. Once dry, we re-expose the screen to harden it, leaving you with a strong, durable screen ready for printing.
