Over the course of 2 days, you will be taught how to artwork, register and print a four-layer CMYK Screen Print. Day 1 will kick off at the Print Club Gallery (next door to the Print Club Studio) in Dalston. You will be taught the building blocks of how to artwork your design ready for CMYK printing, learning step by step how to achieve halftone separations. Once all the artwork has been created and prepared for screen printing, you will be taught how to coat, expose and wash out your screens ready for screen printing your very first layer.
Day 2 is all about the printing… You will spend the day printing the three remaining layers to complete your CMYK Screen Print. After all the printing is done, and you’ve had a chance to admire your newly taught printing prowess, you will be shown how to blast out your screen!
