These terms apply when you buy from Print Club London – artwork, prints, gifts, studio supplies, gift vouchers or a place on one of our workshops – on printclublondon.com, by email, by phone or in person. Please read them before you order. Our Returns & Refunds Policy and Delivery information form part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. If anything here appears to conflict with your rights under consumer law, the law applies.

These terms are for consumers: people buying for their own personal use rather than for a business. They cover:
• artwork and prints, framed and unframed, including original artwork
• gifts, books, puzzles, print kits, merchandise and studio supplies
• gift vouchers and e-vouchers
• places on our public screen printing workshops
Studio membership, desk and studio space, studio hire, printing and screen services (including Tuckshop), team workshops, live events and trade orders have their own terms. We’ll give you those before you commit. Using our website is covered by our Website Terms of Use.
This is a short summary. For full details, contact the Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133.
Products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they’re not:
• within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the product and get a full refund
• after 30 days, you can ask us to repair or replace it; if that isn’t possible or doesn’t fix the problem, you can have a price reduction or a refund
• up to six years after delivery, you can bring a claim (in Scotland, five years from when you discover the problem)
Services, such as our workshops, must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If they’re not, we must put it right or, if we can’t, give you some or all of your money back.
Buying at a distance (online, by phone or by email) gives you at least 14 days to change your mind about most products. We give you 30 days. See section 8 and our Returns & Refunds Policy.
• Before you submit your order, you can check and correct any mistakes on the checkout page.
• When you place an order, we’ll email you to acknowledge it. This doesn’t mean we’ve accepted your order.
• For products, our contract starts when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched or is ready to collect.
• For workshop places and gift vouchers, our contract starts when we email your booking or order confirmation.
• We’ll send you a copy of these terms with your order confirmation. Please keep it for your records.
If we can’t accept your order. Many of our works are one-offs or small editions that we also sell in our gallery and at events. If an item sells out before we accept your order, or there’s an error in its price or description, we’ll tell you and won’t charge you. If you’ve already paid, we’ll refund you in full as soon as possible.
• Hand-made prints vary. Screen prints are pulled by hand, so prints in the same edition can differ slightly in ink coverage, colour and registration. Paper may have deckled or hand-torn edges. This is part of a hand-made print, not a fault, and our Buyer’s Guide to Screen Prints explains more. If a print varies noticeably from its photos, we’ll tell you before we send it.
• Colours on screen. We photograph every work as accurately as we can, but screens show colours differently. If what arrives is significantly different from its description or photos, you’re covered by the rights in section 3.
• Sizes. Sheets are hand-cut or hand-torn, so paper sizes can vary by a few millimetres. Please measure your print before you buy a frame for it.
• Framed artwork. The frame style and finish are shown on each listing. We frame most works after you order, so framed works can take up to three weeks to arrive. We can’t send framed artwork outside the UK.
• Editions and originals. Edition sizes are shown on each listing. Original works are one-offs.
• Copyright. Buying an artwork means you own the physical work. The copyright stays with the artist, so you can’t reproduce the image without their permission.
• Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery charges are extra and are shown at checkout before you pay. See our Delivery page.
• We take payment when you place your order. If we don’t accept your order, we’ll refund you in full.
• Pricing mistakes. If we find a pricing error before we accept your order, we’ll contact you so you can go ahead at the correct price or cancel. If a mistake is obvious and you could reasonably have recognised it, we don’t have to supply at the wrong price, even after accepting your order. In that case we’ll refund you in full.
• Refunds go back to the payment method you used. We don’t charge a fee for them.
• Delivery times and charges are on our Delivery page. If we haven’t agreed a delivery date with you, we’ll deliver within 30 days of your order.
• Delays. If something outside our control delays your order, we’ll tell you as soon as we can. If there’s a risk of a substantial delay, you can contact us to end the contract, and we’ll refund anything you’ve paid for but not received.
• Essential dates. If you told us a delivery date was essential and we miss it, or we miss a further reasonable date you give us, you can end the contract and get a full refund.
• When it becomes your responsibility. A product is your responsibility once it’s delivered to the address you gave us, received by someone you asked to take it, or collected by you. You own it once we’ve received full payment.
• Lost parcels. Until it’s delivered, your order is our responsibility. If it hasn’t arrived, tell us and we’ll trace it. If it’s lost, we’ll send a replacement if one is available, or refund you in full – whichever you prefer.
• Your address. Please check it carefully. We’re not responsible for a parcel lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address you gave us, but we’ll help to trace it.
• Missed deliveries. If a parcel comes back to us because no one was available or it wasn’t collected from the depot, we’ll contact you and charge our standard delivery rate to send it again. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we can’t contact you or re-arrange delivery, we may end the contract. We’ll refund what you paid, less our reasonable delivery, return and storage costs.
• Collection orders. Some works are collection only. We’ll email you when your order is ready to collect from our Dalston studio by appointment. Please collect within 30 days or ask us to deliver it (delivery charges apply). We’ll hold your order for up to six months. If we can’t reach you in that time, we may end the contract and refund what you paid, less our reasonable storage and administration costs.
• Outside the UK. Your order may be charged import duties and taxes when it arrives. These are payable by you, and we have no control over them. If you refuse to pay them and the parcel comes back to us, we’ll treat it as a change-of-mind return under our Returns & Refunds Policy, less the actual costs we’re charged for its return.
Full details are in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short:
• Faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described: tell us as soon as you can. We’ll put it right at our cost with a refund, repair or replacement, and we pay for the return.
• Changed your mind: you have 30 days from delivery to tell us, which is longer than the 14 days the law requires. You pay to send the item back. We’ll refund the price of the item and, if you return your whole order, the standard delivery charge. This doesn’t apply to items made to your specifications or personalised for you.
• Workshops: see section 9.
Each workshop place is for a specific date and time. Because of this, the 14-day right to cancel online purchases doesn’t apply to workshop bookings. Our own cancellation policy below applies instead.
• 14 days or more before your workshop: we’ll give you a full refund or move you to another date, whichever you prefer.
• Less than 14 days before: we’ll try to fill your place. If we do, we’ll refund you or move you to another date. If we can’t fill it, we can’t give a refund.
• Sending someone else: you can give your place to someone else at any time. Just email us their name before the workshop.
• Group bookings: we advertise each place separately and will try to fill each one. We’ll refund or move each place we manage to fill.
• If you don’t attend: we can’t refund a place that isn’t used.
To cancel or change a booking, email [email protected].
If we have to cancel a workshop, or change its date, time or content significantly (for example, if a tutor is ill), we’ll tell you as soon as we can. You can then choose another date or a full refund.
• Children aged 12 to 17 are welcome with a participating adult. We can’t accept unaccompanied under-18s, or children under 12.
• Please arrive on time. We’ll help as much as we can if you’re late, but we can’t extend the session.
• Follow the safety instructions our team gives you. Before the day, tell us about any health condition or allergy that inks or screen printing materials might affect.
• Bring designs you have the right to use: your own work, or images that are copyright-free. We may decline to print anything that infringes someone else’s rights or is offensive.
• The prints you make are yours to take home.
If a workshop isn’t run with reasonable care and skill, tell us. We’ll put it right, for example with a place on another session, or give you an appropriate refund.
Team workshops and live events are quoted separately and have their own terms.
• Gift vouchers come as a card sent by post or as an e-voucher sent by email.
• Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If you need more time in exceptional circumstances, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
• You can use a voucher as full or part payment for prints, artwork and workshops on printclublondon.com.
• Vouchers can’t be exchanged for cash.
• You can get a refund for an unused voucher within 30 days of buying it. We’ll refund the full amount you paid, including any postage, to the original purchaser’s payment method.
• If we break these terms or don’t use reasonable care and skill, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made.
• We’re not responsible for loss that isn’t foreseeable.
• We never limit or exclude our liability where the law doesn’t allow it. That includes liability for:
– death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or the negligence of our staff or subcontractors
– fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
– breaking your legal rights in relation to products and services, as summarised in section 3
– defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987
• Our products are for domestic and private use. If you use them for a business purpose, we’re not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
If something outside our reasonable control delays or prevents us from meeting our obligations, such as severe weather, a courier strike or a power failure, we’ll tell you as soon as we can. We’ll also do what we can to reduce the delay. If there’s a risk of a substantial delay, you can end the contract and get a refund for anything you’ve paid for but not received.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place your order applies to that order. Changes won’t affect orders you’ve already placed unless the law requires it.
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at [email protected] (or [email protected] for workshops), or call 020 7254 9028. We’ll try to put things right quickly and fairly.
