Joseph Gibson

Joseph started out with a Fine Art degree from Kingston University where he developed his interest in geometry, structure and industrial form. Currently working in London as a set designer, photographer and carpenter.

In recent years Joseph has produced a series of photographic collections. ‘Vans &’, ‘Smoke Signal’ and ‘Hackney Life’ are projects the artist has produced as interesting social explorations into human decision and interaction.

“Although I’m proficient shooting with digital I prefer shooting on 35mm film and I feel a CMYK screen print is a great way to accentuate and enliven the texture of my images. Shooting on film represents a raw honest moment in time and a four colour separation screen print elevates it to something beautifully tangible.”
