Andrew MacGregor is a multidisciplinary artist and resident at Print Club London, working across illustration, paper sculpture, set design and art direction. He graduated with a BA(Hons) in Illustration from Middlesex University in 2004, and is best known in the gallery for his tropical, pineapple-led screen prints — bold, graphic and built from hand-painted originals. Sustainability runs through the studio practice: paper is his material of choice, and off-cuts from larger sculptural pieces are reworked into smaller 3D pieces rather than thrown away. Beyond the tropical prints, MacGregor also produces more intimate portrait work, including the Skin Deep series exploring identity through sitting and conversation. His paper sculpture has shown at the Coningsby Gallery, sold out at the Affordable Art Fair, and been commissioned by brands including Chopard and Uniqlo.
