Margaux Carpentier is a French-born artist based in Stoke Newington, London who studied in Paris and Surrey. She works across screen printing, painting, drawing, spray paint, ceramics and large-scale murals — her practice built around storytelling through symbolic imagery, created entirely by hand using analogue methods. Her work addresses the head, heart, gut and flesh: desire, connection and the vibrant oddity of existence rendered in bold, unapologetic figures and folk-inflected symbols. She is part of Animaux Circus studio and the Puck collective, and is represented by Art Friend. She was campaign artist for Affordable Art Fair Battersea Spring 2025 and has painted murals at London Zoo and Homerton Hospital.
