Natasha Searston is a London-based illustrator and screen printer originally from Nottingham. After a degree in illustration she spent many years working in television before returning to art in 2018, when she began turning her playful ink drawings into screen prints. Her prints depict colourful, dreamlike worlds populated by bears, blob friends, mushrooms and surreal flora — built from handmade textures and a palette that is now, in her own words, ‘knees-deep into the rainbow.’ Her rule: if she draws something that makes her smile, it passes the test. She has been experimenting with phosphorescent ink in more recent work, producing glow-in-the-dark editions alongside the standard prints. A member of North London Printmakers and a regular exhibitor at Print Club London since 2018. In her own words: ‘I make art for nice people who want nice things on their walls.’
