Working under the name Fiftyseven Steve Mitchell has been screenprinting for 3 years now

His unique style is built from a complex mix of decoration, pattern and symmetry, embedded with quasi-religious/occult/masonic symbolism, along with anything else that will fit in. Working with a restricted colour palette and especially favouring metallic inks, his screenprints are mostly based around a simple visual concept revealing more and more detail the closer you look.

Steve Mitchell grew up and was educated in the North East of England and has been a graphic designer in the live music industry for 15+ years, self-employed for the last decade. Recent clients include The O2, Latitude Festival, Classic Rock magazine as well as album sleeve design for Gong and Knifeworld.
