Spiral Figure is part of a series of original mono-prints created at Print Club during summer 2025. Made in the heat of spring and summer, the work captures the body's energy and shifting sensations. It celebrates the human form, its movement, emotion, and physical presence.
Each piece in the series is one-of-a-kind, made using the mono-printing process. The spiral as the figure's form — the body curving back on itself, the movement frozen in a shape that implies continuation — is characteristic of Margaux Carpentier's symbolic approach: the image that can be read in multiple directions simultaneously. French-born, based in Stoke Newington, studied in Paris and Surrey. Her work addresses "the head, heart, gut, and flesh." Our guide to investing in original artwork is worth reading. Signed. £625.
