Jacqueline Colley
Jacqueline Colley is an illustrator, pattern designer and screen printer based in East London who studied Graphic Design at Chelsea College of Art, UAL before spending six years as a textile designer for H&M and Oasis. Since going freelance she has worked with Kate Spade, Hermès, Great Ormond Street Hospital and London Zoo, designed stationery ranges for Ohh Deer and fabric collections for FIGO, and her work is stocked by Print Club London and Oliver Bonas. She has taught at the V&A and her work has appeared in Marie Claire and Home & Garden. Each screen print begins as a hand-drawn pen illustration, developed digitally before being screen printed by hand in her Hackney studio. Her subjects — travel signage, vintage packaging, botanical symbolism, mid-century design and the objects of everyday life — are treated with the same graphic precision and warmth of colour.
