Over the last six months the team at Print Club London and Help Refugees have been curating an exhibition featuring works by some amazing artists, each of who have been making their mark on Katharine Hamnett's iconic 'CHOOSE LOVE' slogan to produce unique art pieces that will be sold, giving all the proceeds to the charity! 100% of the profits from this print go to the charity. Please note, gift vouchers cannot be redeemed against any print from our Choose Love collection.
"I was playing with the of idea of vibes, and about trying to keep those vibes good or compassionate, for ourselves and those around us." - DONK
This piece is framed in a black, grain, float frame and can be collected from Print Club London.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Donk
Donk is a street artist working within the paste-up tradition. He combines original photography, printmaking and hand finishing techniques. He has been placing his work onto the streets of London and elsewhere since 2008. His images are often inhabited by his family & friends who take on the various roles within his work. The strongly evocative and anachronistic images remix urban history and culture, across a time line of his own making, at once referencing the past and the contemporary to make playful connections between universal themes of human strength, vulnerability and the passage of time.
