Thirst was painted by Margaux at Print Club during the hot spring–summer of 2025. This work marks a bold new direction in her practice and is part of a series exclusive to Print Club London. The image evokes the dry tension of rainless days and the visceral, almost carnal pleasure of hydration. Hand-painted on durable 300 gsm Fabriano paper, it is a 1/1 original mono—vivid, expressive, and utterly unique.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Margaux Carpentier
Margaux Carpentier is a French-born artist currently based in London, whose work is deeply rooted in craftsmanship. Her artistic practice explores a diverse range of mediums, including spray paint, traditional painting and drawing techniques, printmaking, installations, and ceramics.
Margaux’s work is centered around storytelling through imagery, often bringing together bold, unapologetic human figures intertwined with symbols that draw from both the physical and metaphysical worlds. Her pieces are visceral, addressing the head, heart, gut, and flesh. Themes of desire, connection, and the vibrant oddity of existence come to life in her vivid, colorful depictions.
