Over three years the team at Print Club London and Help Refugees curated a collection featuring works by artists who each made their mark on Katharine Hamnett’s iconic CHOOSE LOVE slogan. Margaux Carpentier‘s 2021 edition applies her symbolic, folk-inflected imagery and analogue printmaking to one of the most direct statements possible. Carpentier is a French-born artist based in London, studied in Paris and Surrey, and works across printmaking, painting, ceramics and large-scale murals. Her work uses symbolic language “that can be read by all, in many ways.” Signed. £300.
