The companion to Wilderness — the same forest upward view, the same inspiration of walking through woodland and observing the patterns formed where different trees' branches overlap. Where Wilderness uses metallic gold as its third colour, Wildwood uses metallic green, which shifts the whole composition from the warm and luminous toward the cool and organic — a different forest, a different season, the same act of attention.
Chris Keegan's ability to generate distinct pieces from the same source — the forest canopy, the metallic ink layer, the layered screen printing process — is a consequence of how finely he tunes the colour relationships between layers. Three colours, metallic green, hand-pulled, limited edition. £100.
