ABOUT THE ARTIST
Justine Ellis
In 2009 Justine gave up full time teaching to concentrate on screen printing and she hasn’t looked back since.
Specialising in hand screen printed art, stationery and homewares; her distinctive style of bold colour, shape and texture is influenced by mid century design, ceramics, prints and textiles.
Each original print, design or pattern begins life as a drawing or paper cut collage before being transferred into print.
When she is not armed with a squeegee, she can be found teaching adults to screen print and designing and facilitating arts workshops for young people. Justine also prints editions for illustrators, artists and designers and is available for commissioned work.
