The third Floral Study — a different flower, a different observation, the same coloured pencil on 160gsm pastel paper. Clare Halifax's Floral Studies series builds a record of botanical observation across multiple drawings, each one complete in itself while contributing to a larger body of observational work. Halifax's practice expanded from screen prints to include original drawings, etchings and ceramic pieces — the Floral Studies representing the drawing strand of that expansion. Coloured pencil, pastel paper, original, one-of-a-kind. Signed. £350.
