Greyhound by Caitlin Flood-Molyneux is an original mixed media work on paper presented float framed and ready to hang — the float framing giving the paper its own space within the frame rather than being pressed against the backing, which suits the layered, textured quality of Flood-Molyneux's mixed media surfaces.
The greyhound as subject connects to their wider interest in animals as carriers of symbolic weight — speed, pursuit, elegance and fragility held together in a single form. Flood-Molyneux works with oil paint, spray paint, acrylics and vintage collage material, their practice rooted in gestural abstraction and the use of pop culture imagery to express subjective experiences. Shown at Christie's and Sotheby's, Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe shortlist 2024. Original on paper, float framed, one-of-a-kind. £781.
