This 2 day screen print workshop is our most popular route to becoming a confident, independent screenprinter. Run over two consecutive days at our studio in Dalston, London, the course takes you from a blank design file through to a finished, hand-pulled two-layer print. On day one of the 2 day screen print workshop, you’ll work in our gallery space on laptops, learning how to prepare a two-colour design in Photoshop ready for screen printing. You’ll then head into the studio to expose your own screens, ready to print the following day. Day two is spent entirely in the print studio, where you’ll learn how to register and print your two-layer design by hand under the guidance of our expert tutors. By the end of the workshop you’ll walk away with a small edition of your own prints, plus the practical know-how to keep printing at home or in a shared studio. This 2 day screen print workshop is aimed at those who’ve already completed our Beginners Workshop, or who have prior screen printing experience. You’ll need to bring a laptop with Photoshop installed, along with a two-layer design saved as a PSD or as individual JPEG/PDF files at 300dpi. Spaces are limited to keep the workshop hands-on and personal, so early booking is recommended.
