Sarah is a Walthamstow-based printmaker known for her vibrant, hand-made screen prints that celebrate community, place, and the intersection of urban and natural environments. Working outside formal training, she’s shaped her practice through play, curiosity and a healthy dose of trial-and-error.
Driven by a passion for the screen printing process, Sarah finds joy in distilling the essence of her subjects into a limited palette of colours, breaking them down and building them again, layer by layer. She embraces the tactile, hands-on nature of printmaking — from initial sketches to hand-painted positives — and values the spontaneity that comes with working in analogue.
Through her prints, Sarah seeks out moments of joy and quiet beauty in the everyday, inviting viewers to slow down and engage with the stories woven into familiar streets, pockets of nature, and shared moments.
