M.E. Ster-Molnar is a California dreaming, London based artist. She spent many years as a fashion designer and is inspired by the beautiful imperfections of life. M.E’s work reflects a deep sense of wonder in the details and imperfections of everyday life. From the texture of a riverbank to the peeling posters on city streets, vintage 7-Up signs, 1980s new wave music, and glimpses of nature woven into urban environments, their inspirations are varied and vibrant. Influences include worldly textiles, current fashion trends, blooming flowers, colorful outdoor markets, introspective thoughts, and the quiet presence of politics in daily life—all of which converge in their creative process.
Working in collage, acrylics, oils, watercolor, and more, the artist seeks to celebrate the beautiful flaws that define both individuals and the world at large. Each piece is a vibrant expression intended to infuse a little sunshine into the ordinary and the overlooked.
