Five layers of screen-printed colour, built up from hand-made artwork in the characteristically loud, layered way Ben Rider works. Part of his Fighting Words collection, Tuuti Fruuty has the energy of something pulled from a car boot sale find and pushed through a screen multiple times until it becomes something else entirely — which is pretty much how he describes his process.
Rider is Print Club London's resident print mercenary: illustrator, screen printer, street artist (known also as Zombiesqueegee), and a genuine obsessive about what fluorescent inks can do when you stack enough of them on top of each other. Limited edition, signed.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ben Rider
I am a london based illustrator and Printmaker. I specialise in making vibrant, edgy, work with a punky look and feel. My Work is built up from a dense hybrid of drawings, collaged imagery and multi – layered colours. I am a big fan the offsets, drips and fades to create an authentic distressed aesthetic.
