'Strange Days in the Tide Pool.' is an original mixed media painting (acrylic, oil pastel and pencil) by Kazland, created on a wood panel. Playfully dark and reflective, it’s a one-of-a-kind piece with character and warmth. Sharp, invisible enemies cyclone around. Standing taller than ever at the tip of a tree. Signalling for help - Smoke in the sky, rocks in the sand. Walking across the ocean to a new world.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
KAZLAND
Kazland, born Callum J. Buckland in Frimley, 1990, is a self taught, mixed media artist from the south of England. A process based artist, rarely working with a plan, he starts each piece letting the work guide itself until an idea starts to form, and then pursuing it until it’s end (or a better idea takes over).
