Kate Alger is an artist-printmaker who lives in town but just a dog walk away from the river, woods and the Surrey Hills. Her work is timeless, sensitive and entirely handmade. Kate works in many forms of printmaking and loves the blend of free-hand drawing or painting and the massive range of techniques, processes, styles and opportunities to learn that printmaking offers.
Kate’s work has been exhibited at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, Watts Gallery, Southbank Printmakers, the RBSA, Oxmarket Contemporary, the Royal Automobile Club, and Goodwood amongst other galleries and fairs and has been featured in specialist press.
Recent collaborations include bespoke silkscreen editions for a Saville Row tailor and a large London dog charity.
