This print is to remind all of us, young, old and everything in between - to take time to play, explore, let things excite us, find inspiration in the everyday and to make time to have fun. Play is important. And it has incredible benefits for adults and children alike. In 1951, Charles & Ray Eames first released 'The Toy' "...a colourful, thoughtful product intended for children as well as adults". Seraphina was captivated by the photos of Ray Eames working on the design in the garden of their house and by their approach to making playthings. Working a similar palette, Seraphina took the basic elements of The Toy and created a collage, bringing in the circle which she often uses to suggest the presence of the sun or moon in her work. Translating the collage into a screen print to produce this limited edition series, she hopes that the work will inspire you to embrace and lean into playing more.
This screenprint was designed exclusively for Blisters: Time to Play in September 2023, which showcased over 50 emerging and established artists, each with a brand new and exclusive edition of handmade screenprints responding to the theme of PLAY. From fairground rides to broader concepts about colour and abstraction, the show comprised an array of styles from street art to fine art illustration. The exhibition presented pieces from renowned contemporary artists such as Anthony Burrill, Oliver Jeffers, Morag Caister, Lucille Clerc, Babak Ganjei, John Booth and many more. And many Print Club favourites of course!

    UK DELIVERY

    STANDARD DELIVERY

    £9.50 – Unframed prints will be with you within 7 working days.

    £19.50 – Framed prints will take up to 3 weeks.

    £29.50 – Extra large Framed prints (over 560mm x 760mm ), will take up to 3 weeks.

    EXPRESS

    £12.50 – Unframed prints will be with you within 3 working days.

    £37.00 – Framed prints (Smaller than 560cm x 760mm) within 9 working days. Please note this is only available on limited items, some bespoke frames will take 2 – 3 weeks. We will contact you if this is the case.

    £51.00 – Extra large Framed prints (over 560mm x 760mm ),  within 9 working days. Please note this is only available on limited items, some bespoke frames will take 2 – 3 weeks. We will contact you if this is the case.

    PRIORITY

    £14.50 – Unframed orders made before 12pm will be with you the next working day. Orders made after 12pm we aim to send out the same day if possible.

    £43.00 – Framed prints (Smaller than 560mm x 760mm) within 3 working days. Please note this is only available on limited items, some bespoke frames will take 2 – 3 weeks. We will contact you if this is the case.

    UK items will be sent via DHL with next day delivery once ready to ship and the relevant level of insurance and proof of purchase. For large or heavy items or parcels we may need to look into alternative options, in this case we will contact you beforehand to arrange a suitable delivery date.

    In some cases where items are made to order, delivery may take longer than usual. Please bear in mind most items are handmade one-offs or from small editions so we may sell out of certain items at particularly busy periods. In this case we will advise you of a delivery date.

    If a parcel is returned to us due to missed delivery and re-delivery has to be arranged then you will need to pay a second delivery fee.

     

    INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

    Please allow 10 to 12 working days for international delivery.

    Shipping to non-UK countries will be sent via UK Mail overseas parcel services. Insurance will be obtained for goods.

    Please note that shipment to non-UK countries may be subject to import duties and tax. Additional charges must be paid by the customer. Print Club London has no control over these charges and bears no responsibility.

    Framed artwork cannot be shipped internationally.

    If you wish to return any artwork you are responsible for returning the print on a tracked service. Once the artwork has been received we will issue you a refund minus the original shipping fee.

    BREAKAGES & DAMAGED ITEMS

    Damaged items must be notified with 72 hours of receiving the artwork. After this point we cannot offer a refund or replacement.

    If any item arrives damaged please contact us immediately and keep the item and packaging used. Please photograph the damaged item and email us, we will discuss options: shop@printclublondon.com.

    For faulty items please return the goods to us within 14 days with receipt. We will offer a replacement or refund the cost of the item. In some cases the print you purchased may no longer be available as once an edition is sold out it cannot be reproduced. If this is the case you will be refunded.

    LOST ITEMS

    If your item does not arrive within 7 days of dispatch for UK and 14 days for rest of the world, please contact us in case delivery has been delayed.

    Items returned to us by the postal service marked as not called for or unclaimed by the receiver will require additional postage costs to be paid before we can resend.

    We cannot be held responsible if a parcel has gone missing due to the postal address being filled in incorrectly or missing important information. However, if we notice the address is incomplete, we will contact you before dispatch.

    For any missing items or issue with delivery you have 28 days with which to contact us to discuss. After this point we cannot refund or replace the missing items.

     

    FRAMED ORDERS

    All of our frames are made to order, when purchasing please note that framed prints can take up to three weeks to arrive from the date of purchase. Framed artwork is non – refundable.

    Further Details

    Returns for items in perfect condition can be made within 30 days of your initial order. If you wish to make a return you must inform us in writing within 30 days of making your order. When making a return you must send the item using a fully tracked delivery service and appropriate insurance as we will not be held responsible for items missing or damaged on their return journey. Please note, we cannot accept returns unless you have kept the original packaging and are able to repackage the item securely using this.

    You will be given the option of an exchange or we will refund your payment minus postage. We aim to reimburse you within 14 working days. Items made to order are not subject to returns. For example, any artwork printed to order will be non-returnable. Due to monitor settings colours may vary slightly from the colours you see on screen. However if large variations occur we will advise before shipment.

    Please note framed items are non-refundable. We offer a discretionary 2 months on framed artwork warranty.

    If you return a print you will be refunded the value of your order, minus the original shipping charge paid. 

    If you exchange a print you will be charged shipping for the second order. 

    If your print arrives damaged and you need to return it then please advise us first and then send it back via 2nd class signed for. The maximum we will cover for return shipment is £4.00 for 2nd class signed for UK and £20 for international.

    Please note these terms and conditions refer to the Online Shop only.

    If you order a print for collection but fail to collect we can hold the print for 6 months after which time it will be returned to the artist and no refund will be given. Any artwork not collected within 30 days of the initial order is not eligible for a refund.

    If you want to return a print after 30 days it is the galleries discretion to refund or offer a credit note. We do not offer refund on all extended returns.

    Gift vouchers are eligible for refund within 30 days of placing the order, to the original cardholder only. Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash, and can only be redeemed against purchases or workshop bookings from printclublondon.com.

     

    If you’re not happy with your artwork, simply return it to us within 30 days of delivery.

    Framed Prints are non – refundable.

Seraphina is a London based artist. She works with collage to create abstract works on paper and often uses these as the basis for her screenprints. Her minimalist compositions have a strong focus on colour and space.
