Aderice Palmer-Jones is an illustrator currently based in London, Liverpool and Northamptonshire.

Being African/American and growing up in a predominantly white community, her work seeks to explore black culture and black women in a positive, vibrant outlook. Seeing women who looked like her within everyday illustration has been an integral part of her own personal journey into recognizing that black is beautiful and the importance of knowing your worth; much of her work seeks to understand and reflect this.

After graduating from Leeds Arts University with a degree in illustration in 2019, she has produced work for Hachette Books, Ulysses Press, John Lewis and Illustrate. She has since qualified as a nurse and plans to pursue a career in both fields.
