Alice Gabb’s Brush Lettering & Screenprinting Workshop
Want to learn a new skill? Want to learn new two skills at once? Well now you can with our Guest Workshops and kicking off our second Guest Workshop is Alice Gabb, who will be teaching the art of Brush Lettering! You’ll be able to work alongside an Alice and learn all of the tricks of the trade!
Join Alice Gabb who will be teaching you how to create some beautiful brush lettering and then work with one of Print Club London’s tutor to guide you through all aspects of screen print design and teach you how to turn your brush lettering into a screenprint
Day One kicks off in the Print Club Gallery (next door to the Print Club studio) in Dalston. You will be working alongside Alice Gabb who will be teaching you the art of brush lettering
You will go straight into some practice excersisies then moving onto letter forms and by the end of the workshop you will be able to write your name or your favourite quote.
Day Two is all about the printing… Our very skilled screen print tutor will now take over from Alice and lead you through how to turn your brush lettering design into a limited edition screen print! You’ll learn the tricks of the trade of how to produce your design as 6 screen prints and once you’ve had a chance to admire your newly taught printing prowess, you will be shown how to blast out your screen!
Our aim with our new workshop series is to give more of an insight into not only the inner workings of our East London studio but, also a closer look at how well-known working artists/illustrators create their work! Throughout the next few months we’ll be collaborating with artists to run 2-day workshops which they will show you their trade secrets and Our talented printers will guide you through producing work as a screen print.
