A tribute to the snooker clubs of London, in particular the Mildmay Club. 7 colour screenprint. This screenprint was designed exclusively for Blisters: Time to Play in September 2023, which showcased over 50 emerging and established artists, each with a brand new and exclusive edition of handmade screenprints responding to the theme of PLAY. From fairground rides to broader concepts about colour and abstraction, the show comprised an array of styles from street art to fine art illustration. The exhibition presented pieces from renowned contemporary artists such as Anthony Burrill, Oliver Jeffers, Morag Caister, Lucille Clerc, Babak Ganjei, John Booth and many more. Reuben Dangoor
British artist Reuben Dangoor creates work heavily influenced by current affairs and British culture.
When his portraits of Stormzy, Skepta & Dizzee Rascal were unveiled in Tate Britain Museum’s for his debut exhibition ‘Legends of the Scene’ he gained global coverage as the first artist to bring the stars of the UK Grime and Hip Hop scene into a museum. Having had coverage across New York Times, GQ, Hypebeast, Artnet, Highsnobiety, Evening Standard front cover, Netflix, BBC News, Channel 4, Sky News and many more. Reuben has also had work displayed in The Design Museum for their ‘Art of Politics’ exhibition. Last year Reuben had three works in the Design Museum’s Sneaker Exhibition which is now touring Holland and Hong Kong.
