Fatherless X Ben Rider
Fatherless X Ben Rider
Fighting Words is the latest body of work from Fatherless and has evolved from a cross-continental collaboration with London-based artist, Benjamin Rider. This new collection is the result of a process which involved the prints being shipped back and forth several times, with intent on finished works being considered “done” at either side’s discretion.
Where: Print Club London Gallery
When: Thursday 9th July 6-9pm
Fatherless // What began in Rockford, IL as an impromptu screen print session on discarded letterpress proofs has evolved into a body of work now recognised around the world for it’s unique, self-coined “Visual Mixtape of Creative Shenagination.”
Ben Rider // The sense of physically making something with your hands has an honesty, it gives work a certain soul and character and to him this acts as a middle finger to the increasingly homogenised slick corporate world sold to us.
Come down and join us for your favourite Thursday of the month! Live printing and paste ups from the Print Posse themselves AND FREE MAD MINI PRINTS for the first 20 people AND mash up sticker packs for the first 5 to come through the gallery doors.
Our friends over at Pistonhead will be quenching your thirst with their cans of rebellious spirit, Kustom lager! Fatherless and Ben Rider have been busy with the brewer creating exclusive prints! Tweet us on the night if you spot one of these bad boys around the Print Club site and you could win your very own crate of Pistonhead larger and a one off screen print from the artists.
