Toby Haynes is an illustrator from the deepest, darkest corner of England who now lives and works in London. During the day he works as graphic designer and by night he creates illustrations under his ‘El Tobe’ alias.

‘My work has often been described as dark and surreal but to me it seems perfectly normal and is something that has been pouring out of my subconscious for longer than I can remember. It’s always evolving and I like to keep an open mind when creating new pieces taking tribal art, folklore and skulls as inspiration. The majority of my work is hand drawn first before being worked on digitally but I also like to paint and explore new techniques to enhance my style.’
