Secret 7” is back for it’s fifth year and Print Club London went along to check out the range of commissioned record sleeves for the event. Their mission is to combine music and art for a good cause, and this year they are supporting Amnesty International UK.
‘Secret 7” takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. We then invite creatives from around the world to interpret the tracks in their own style for every 7”. 700 sleeves are exhibited and then sold for £50 a piece. You don’t know who created the sleeve, or even which song it’s for, until you have parted with your cash – the secret lies within.
’ Secret 7” will be on until Sunday 1st May at Sonos Studio and the record sleeves cover two floors so there is plenty to see. The auction takes place on Monday 2nd May – on a first come, first served basis!
