Welcome to Vassland, the debut show from Joseph Vass. Expect copious Kroc Kolas, golden Buddhas, dancing flamingos and a life affirming dose of colour… All realised as an intoxicating set of Silkscreen prints, printed by the artist himself.
As part of the exhibition the artist will be releasing two new print editions exclusive to Print Club London. Alongside these each piece of artwork is from Joe’s new collection.
“Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas … with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”
