Our Fabric Workshop is perfect for people who have little or no previous screen printing experience but have always wanted to learn how to screenprint on T-Shirts and Tote Bags. It’s a practical, hands-on and most importantly, fun day of getting messy and creative.
During the day you will learn all about the history of screen printing, the various techniques and processes and how to artwork your designs in Photoshop, creating your screen, setting up the screen print bay and finally pulling your very own design.
Not only will you walk away with your own design screen printed on a T-Shirt or Tote Bag but you’ll also be able to become a member in our studio – so you’ll be able to carry on ‘pulling’ your newly found passion!
Please note – You must be over 18 years old to take part in a workshop. If you wish to enroll someone under 18 years old please contact our offices to discuss.

The workshop starts off with a brief introduction to screen printing and the Print Club London studio. You be will talked through the equipment that will used throughout the day, as well as the general theory that goes into the process. You will individually coat your own screens in preparation for use later in the day to print your own edition of prints, and will be shown some amazing examples of artwork that’s been printed in our studio by working artists.
Our tutors will talk you through some different digital and analogue processes that will help you turn your own image into a usable Positive ready to expose on your screen. Don’t worry if you aren’t too familiar with Photoshop or using a computer, the technicians will go slowly through the techniques and ensure that the theory of what they are doing is understood by all.
Here is where you will take your Positive and expose it onto your coated screen to make the stencil you will be printing with in the afternoon. The tutor will talk you through how our large exposure unit works and then help you wash out your screen afterwards.
Once all preparation has been done it’s time to print! The printers will show you how to get your screen set up on our printing beds and some key printing techniques. You will then be left to print your own small edition of prints with our tutors there to give you a helping hand and talk you through any problems that might pop up. Once you’re finished printing you learn how to clean your screen completely, ready for use again!
