Subtle Cancer is one of the darkest of the zodiac constellations, ever a twinkling mystery. The Greeks believed that cancer was formed from a giant crab, a servant of the goddess Hera, which was set into the stars after being defeated by the hero Heracles.
Cancer is often represented as a crab’s claw but has also been interpreted in history as a lobster and a tortoise.
Regardless of your interest in astronomy and astrology the moment you were born was a singular moment in the history of the universe, the heavenly bodies will never again be in that same configuration. These prints celebrate that moment in time, you and always looking up to the stars.
