David works as a director, illustrator & animator based in London.
Originally from Cologne, Germany, he studied Colour Design at the HAWK
in Hildesheim before going on to graduate from the Department of Design
at the University of Applied Sciences Duesseldorf in 2010.
His first works were strongly influenced
by skateboard graphics and later, by his passion for graffiti.
David particularly enjoys painting outside, the smell of spray paint,
paint and has a special appreciation for working with Indian ink.
Other passions and skills for David lie in the
handmade and traditional animation techniques in combination with
digital tools alongside his ability to work with
analogue and digital, on paper, on walls and on his Wacom.
His client list includes: Panasonic, Osram, ESPN, Levis, O2, Adobe, Sony and the BBC.
